An exciting insight into plastics technology!

On April 25, 2024, memoplast GmbH offered two young girls the opportunity to immerse themselves in the multifaceted world of plastics technology for a day as part of its Girls' Day. At memoplast, where all processes from planning to production take place on-site, the participants were able to experience firsthand how prototypes and small series are created using plastic injection molding.

In the various departments, the two girls learned not only how ideas are transformed into finished products, but also the importance of bringing all production steps together under one roof. Thanks to the diverse expertise and state-of-the-art machinery at memoplast, the day was particularly lively and varied. The girls were impressed by the diversity and technical possibilities available to them – an experience that provided insights far beyond what one might gain during a normal school day.

We are proud to inspire young people to pursue technical careers and are already looking forward to offering more girls the opportunity to get to know our exciting industry next year.

In June 2023, memoplast GmbH from Troisdorf was honored in the "Nature Friend" category at the regional "Ludwig 2023" SME award. The award recognizes our commitment to sustainability and resource efficiency and is presented by the Bonn/Rhein-Sieg Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the Cologne Chamber of Crafts and other partners. The focus in this category was on environmentally conscious use of resources and the promotion of sustainable production methods. This underscores our corporate philosophy, which combines the responsible use of plastics with social commitment.

Sustainability and economic success

With this award ceremony, memoplast GmbH once again demonstrated that environmental awareness and economic success can go hand in hand. This honor highlights our contribution to sustainability and strengthens our position as a future-oriented player in the plastics industry. Together with other outstanding companies in the region, we shared the stage at the Troisdorf Town Hall and celebrated this success and the diverse commitment of the local SMEs with numerous guests.

memoplast receives a visit

On October 3, 2024, our company hosted the “Open Doors with the Mouse” day, and it was a complete success!

We were delighted to welcome many curious children and their families, who enjoyed our exciting insights and activities with shining eyes. Their beaming smiles were the greatest thank you we could have wished for—it showed us how much joy and enthusiasm this day had brought everyone.

In addition to the interesting insights behind the scenes, there were numerous exciting stations where the children were given child-friendly explanations of the production processes. A large painting table and a foosball table were also included. So there was something for everyone, and we had just as much fun as our little guests!
A huge thank you to everyone who made this day so special – especially to the many Mouse fans who visited us!
Of course, a big thank you also goes to Die Maus from WDR and the entire team who made this wonderful day possible and supported it.

We are already looking forward to the next time and hope to see so many smiling faces again!

Looking forward to the KPA 2025

In 2024, after a break of several years, memoplast GmbH successfully participated in two renowned trade fairs: the KPA trade fair in Ulm and Formnext in Frankfurt. At the KPA in Ulm on February 28 and 29, and at Formnext, which took place in Frankfurt from November 19 to 22, we presented our latest developments in plastic injection molding and the high quality of our prototype and small-series production. These innovative technologies generated great interest among trade visitors and led to numerous valuable discussions.

Our stand was well attended at both events, and the positive response from visitors reinforced our commitment to offering customized solutions that meet the highest quality standards.

Save the Date: KPA 2025 in Ulm

Following this year's positive experience, we are pleased to announce that memoplast GmbH will participate in the KPA trade fair in Ulm again in 2025. This will take place on February 25 and 26, 2025, at the Ulm Trade Fair Center. We cordially invite everyone interested to visit us in February and learn more about our latest developments.
